Since beginning his career in real estate in 2011, Dan Lesniak has quickly become one of the top producing real estate agents in the country, helping hundreds of buyers and sellers complete over $250 million in sales. He utilizes his unique experiences and backgrounds to create programs for clients that reverse the risk in real estate. The Orange Line Living Team that Dan has founded has specialists and systems in place to make the entire spectrum of the real estate process as seemless as possible for clients.
Dan graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy (Bachelor of Science) and the University of Maryland (Master of Arts) before beginning a successful career in the U.S. Navy as a submarine officer. After completing the Navy’s nuclear engineering program he completed four strategic deterrence patrols aboard the USS TENNESSEE, a nuclear-powered missile submarine. During his last tour in the Navy he moved to the Northern Virginia area and served as an aide to an Admiral at the Pentagon. During this tour and subsequently while working as a defense contractor he completed his Master of Business Administration at Georgetown University. Dan prides himself on using his experience in process management, strategy and finance to help his clients.
Dan’s interest in real estate began after college when he began buying, selling, and leasing homes for personal and investment use during his Navy career. During this time he was involved in over ten transactions as a consumer covering a wide variety of property types in Florida and Northern Virginia. His passion for real estate and finance led him to pursue real estate as a professional career. He enjoys leveraging his unique combination of personal and professional experiences, education and ability to quickly understand and manage complex processes in order to help guide his clients through making and carrying out real estate decisions.
Dan has lived in Arlington, VA since 2007. He focuses on Transit Oriented Development (TOD) along the orange line metro corridor, but serves all of D.C. and nearby Virginia and Maryland Dan enjoys long distance running and can often be seeing running around Virginia, D.C. and Maryland. Since 2008 he has completed 10 marathons including 3 Boston Marathons.
In 2011 Dan was the Rookie of the Year at Century 21 Redwood Realty and in 2012 he sold over $22 million and was the Realtor of the Year at Redwood’s Arlington office. His Orange Line Living specialized marketing help him become the market leader in Northern Virginia’s most popular neighborhoods in just one year. In 2013, Dan co-foundedd the City Smart Living Team at Keller Williams Realty and it quickly became one of the faster growing and largest producing real estate teams. Later that year Dan reorganized the team into the Orange Line Living team and partnered with the Keri Shull Team and quickly became one of the top Four Keller Williams Teams in the world.
In 2015 Dan and Keri formed Optime Realty.
