Sips and Salsa is Back

WineFor anyone who likes wine and dancing, now is the time for the largest outdoor wine festival that can be found within the beltway. Sips and Salsa will be held on Sunday September 14th from 2:00- 6:00 at 220 20th Street S. in Crystal City Arlington. The focus of the festival is to celebrate Argentinian, Portuguese and Spanish wine, food and dancing. For those that are along the Orange Line Living corridor, you can transfer to the Blue Line at Rosslyn and make your way to Crystal City for an afternoon of wine, food music and dance, all just waiting for you.

Sips and Salsa is hosted by the Washington Wine Academy and the Crystal City Business Improvement District. This is the marquee fall event within the “Vintage Crystal” series of wine related events which occurs each year. With this event, the public can meet with experts about the fine wines that are being provided for tastings, enjoy salsa dancing and live Latin jazz music, and learn about unique food pairings that work well with the variety of wines on hand. Tickets can be bought in advance online for a discounted price of $20 or $25 at the door. Designated drivers for any group can enjoy all food tastings for $10.

With the Sips and Salsa wine festival, you will enjoy amazing food from area restaurants, featuring great foods that are paired up with the wines for a taste sensation combination sure to get you excited and inspired toward Latin foods and drink. The Columbia Pike Salsa Room will have dancers on hand to help you get into the swing of salsa, a perfect cap to an afternoon of wine and food tastings Latin style.
