Our Final Four Results Revealed on Video

Clarendon and Courthouse Region

(1) Station Square vs.   (6) Rhodes Hill Square:  This match features two great condos that offer many similar benefits, but also have their differences. Both condos feature low condo fees for the area. They both have great finishes, although the slightly newer Rhodes Hill Square has a small edge in this category. They both have great locations, however being just over a block from the Clarendon metro gives the edge in that Category to Station Square. Both of these condo projects are also spread out over three different buildings.

The Rhodes Hill Square condos offer larger spaces with most units in the 1200 to 1800 square foot range and more outdoor spaces. Station Square offers a high rise style building, with several units with great views. Station Square also features very nice amenities with a two level pool and a party room, while Rhodes Hill Square does not have a pool or community room.

In the end, Station Square, in a location driven match, wins the Clarendon and Courthouse Region on the way to the Final Four.

Clarendon Final Four

Townhome Region

(1) Clarendon Park vs. (2) Bromptons at Clarendon Park:  Two Clarendon townhomes meet to decide who will win the Orange Line Townhome Region. Both communities were built in the early 2000’s and feature similar levels of finishes. The Bromptons big advantage comes in size  as many of them are four bedrooms and on average a few hundred square feet bigger than Clarendon Park. There are also a few Clarendon Park has the advantages of being located closer to the heart of Clarendon, having homes with better views (park and monument) and homes with rooftop decks.

In a very close call the winner of the Townhome Region is Clarendon Park.

Rosslyn Region

(1) Turnberry Tower vs. (2) Wooster and Mercer Lofts :  Two very luxurious Rosslyn condos face off in the final match of the Rosslyn Region. Although, they both have a high level of luxury, they both have quite a different feel. For those looking for the experience of what you would find in a luxurious high rise hotel, Turnberry is the choice. For those looking for an edgy, SoHo type of loft living experience than Wooster and Mercer is the choice. In the amenities department Turnberry Tower definitely has the edge with its concierge, valet parking, huge fitness center and indoor pool and media room. Not that Wooster and Mercer lacks in this department either as it has an outdoor pool and a nice fitness center, but when it comes to amenities Turnberry is in a class of its own. It is a close call, but Turnberry wins the Rosslyn Region and gets into the Final Four.

Rosslyn Final Four

The Ballston and Virginia Square Region

(5) Monroe vs. (6) Continental:  This match up features one of Ballston’s best condos and one of the best in Virginia Square. Both of these condos are located close to a metro and both were built in the 2000’s. They each have a concierge service, fitness center and a rooftop deck. The Continental gets a slight edge here though because it also has a pool. In the end though the Monroe wins based on its size. With a shortage of 3 bedroom condos on the Orange Line the Monroe has a big advantage in having 3 bedrooms that do not come with a million dollar price tag. The Monroe takes the Ballston and Virginia Square Region and moves into the Final Four.
